The Chinese Lunar Calendar is said to have been around for over 700 years now. It was developed by Chinese Scientists. Many Chinese, and others in the far east put a lot of faith in it’s results, many Westerners aren’t so sure.
First you need to under stand how to use it properly, then you can be the judge!
First off, you need to know the month of conception, that’s conception not birth. Some have mistakenly used the actual birth date and of course this won’t give you an accurate result, so be sure you use the month of conception!
Next, and this is the confusing part for most people, you have to use the mothers age at conception (her conception), that’s her age on the Chinese Lunar Calendar not the Gregorian Calendar used in the west.
Because of the differences in these calendars, the mother should add one year to her age at conception to begin with, and if she conceives after the Chinese New Year she should add another year. The Chinese New Year varies from year to year.
You then simply find the month of conception and the age of the mother using the parameters above, follow the two columns till they intersect and if the square is blue it’s a boy baby and if it’s pink it’s a girl baby.
You, of course, can find out (by way of an ultra-sound) if you will have a boy or girl in your seventh or eighth month, but if nothing else the Chinese Lunar Calendar for baby gender prediction is fun to try and you can use it on your other children or anyone’s children for that matter.
So have some fun with it, and remember you’re baby is a gift from above no matter what gender it is!
