Baby Gender Prediction-Choose To Have A Baby Girl Or Boy
Can You Choose Your Baby’s Gender?
Ask any of the thousands of couples who have been successful in selecting their baby’s gender using the techniques we’ll be discussing and the answer would be yes you can! Is it expensive? Not using the methods I’ll be outlining on this page. Go to any of the fertility clinics and you might be shocked at how deep your pockets will need to be to enlist their help in attempting to choose your baby’s gender! But if you’re serious about having a baby girl or boy to complete your family, read on, because for the cost of a family night out for pizza you could raise the odds of having a baby of the gender of your choice from about 50/50 to well over 90%!
Are These Techniques For Choosing Your Baby’s Gender “Natural”?
Yes, completely natural. The late Dr. Landtrom Shettles realized that by creating the right vaginal environment, and the timing and depth of penetration when having intercourse while trying to conceive, a couple could take advantage of some differences in nature to raise the chance of having a baby of the gender of your choice to almost a certainty. Very simply and very naturally.
What Exactly Are These Baby Gender Prediction “Techniques”
Lets start with biology 101, shall we? It’s a known fact that the woman’s egg only supplies the (xx) chromosome (all girl) to the baby. It’s the man’s sperm that actually determines the sex of the baby. This is because he normally has sperm that carries (yy) chromosome (all boy) and (xy) chromosome (will produce a girl baby.) Dr Shettles found that these two sperm (I’ll call them the “boy” sperm and “girl” sperm it’s less confusing) have very different physical characteristics. The boy sperm is physically smaller, weaker (dies much quicker), but faster swimming (so it can reach the egg quicker.) The “girl” sperm is physically larger, much hardier, and much slower to reach the egg (slower swimmer.) Dr Shettles took advantage of these differences, and devised the Shettles Method of Baby Gender Prediction, which can drastically favor one sperm over the other, so that you can effectively choose which sperm succeeds in fertilizing the egg, and of course the gender of your baby.
Creating The Right Vaginal Environment To Favor One Sperm Over The Other
A woman’s body’s ph (the measure of acidity or alkalinity) will vary, but usually is in the neighborhood of 4.2-5. When wanting to have a baby girl you will want your ph lower on the scale (more acidic.) Why? Because this will make life for the boy sperm very difficult (or hopefully impossible) and if they all die off that leaves only the girl sperm left to fertilize the egg. The best way to lower your body’s ph is by adjusting your diet and eating foods that will lower your body’s ph. Foods such as corn, beans, fish, plums, cranberries, oatmeal, coffee, red meat, and dairy products. Magnesium, and sodium (salt) can help make your reproductive tract more acidic as well. Also researchers have found having an orgasm changes your ph, and if wanting a baby girl you should not have one;o(.
If wanting a boy baby you will want a vaginal ph on the alkaline side so the boy sperm can survive and beat the girl sperm in the race to fertilize the waiting egg. Here again the foods you eat can effect your ph, if you’re wanting a baby boy eat foods that will increase your alkalinity such as bananas, figs, watermelon, potatoes, spinach, cabbage, and celery. Taking potassium can help if wanting a boy baby, and having an orgasm at about the same time as the man will greatly increase your chance of having a boy (who says girls are more fun!)
Douching can quickly and easily change your body’s ph, but because of the chance of infections I would only recommend douching under your doctors care.
Timing And Sexual Position Can Help Determine The Gender Of Your Baby
The timing of when you have sex to try and conceive is also very important in determining whether you will have a baby boy or girl. Remember that the boy sperm is smaller and faster than the girl sperm, as we look at why timing and sexual position are such important pieces of the baby gender puzzle.
If you are wanting a little baby boy you will want to have intercourse on the day you ovulate. You’ll need to track your ovulation cycle for a few months, so you can accurately determine which day that will be. By having sex on that day you’ll be giving the quicker boy sperm the best chance to win the race to the egg and give you your little boy. You’ve also adjusted your body’s ph to be more alkaline, favoring the survival of the boy sperm. You’ll also want to have sex in positions that allow for the deepest penetration possible (rear entry or “doggie style”) being recommended. This will deposit the sperm very close to the waiting egg, and give the weaker boy sperm a short fast trip.
When you are wanting to conceive a little girl baby, you will want to have sex whenever you want during the month, but abstain from sex three days before you ovulate until three days after. You also will want to only allow very shallow penetration during sex, at the time you are trying to conceive ie. the two days before abstaining. The reasoning behind this is if you have sex to conceive four days before ovulation, and only allow for shallow penetration, and than abstain until three days after ovulation, you’ll be giving the boy sperm to long in both time and distance for them to survive. You also want a more acidic ph which will make survival very tough indeed for the boy sperm. If the boy sperm all die off that will leave only their girl counterparts left to fertilize the egg resulting in the little baby girl you want.
Conclusion
As you can see these are very simple, all natural techniques, and have proven time and time again (thousands of times actually) to be effective in helping you have the baby boy or baby girl you want. If your serious about choosing your baby’s gender, and don’t think your alone, over 85% of couples worldwide would like to choose the gender of their next baby, than why not try? You have everything to gain and nothing to lose. If you fail and have a baby of the other gender, well you of course will love that baby just as much!
Again if you are serious, you really need a guide to take you step by step through the process and alleviate any guesswork. The very best guide I’ve found is written by Rebecca Washburn, it’s called How To Pick Your Baby’s Gender and was born out of the frustration of wanting desperately to conceive a baby boy to compliment her two little girls. After finding it could cost as much as $50,000.00 at a “clinic”, and with absolutely no guarantees, she knew there had to be a better way! Rebecca studied everything she could find on natural preconception gender selection and organized and condensed the information into an easy to read ebook. Her ebook explains the steps I outlined above, but she gives you detailed step by step instructions. Follow Rebecca’s three simple steps, and you can choose the gender of your next baby!

Thank you for the informative article. I do have a couple of questions.
First, what vaginal ph numeric range should you be aiming for if you are trying to conceive a boy?
Also, have any studies been done on the number of times a couple has intercourse and baby gender? I understand that I should be aiming to have intercourse close to my ovulation to conceive a boy but is it considered a good idea to have intercourse only once or a few times during that window.
Thanks!
Thanks for your comment Rumiko, I’ll email you.
Hi I want to know how to test vaginal pH? Can u just test your urine?
You need to buy a vaginal ph testing kit. You can find them at your local drugstore or online. If you are truly serious about choosing the gender of your next baby you really need a guide to take you step by step through the process and give you the best chance of success. I think you’ll find Rebecca Washburn’s ebook indespencable in achieving your goal. Thanks for your comment Jasmina, and good luck!
I searched for this information and read a few of your posts. It is great info and added it to my alerts. Look forward to reading more from you in the future.
We would like to have a baby girl and plan it out. Rebecca Washburn’s book is very expensive, do you know where I can get it for a lesser price?
You could go to Baby Gender Selection and choose one of the less expensive alternatives.
may i recommend purchasing Shettle’s book. I bought it on e-bay for a relatively god price and read through it. It is very informative and gives you in depth ideas on charting and planning. I’ve been following the Shettle’s method myself in hopes of conciving a baby boy.
I offer three ebooks available for immediate download elsewhere online. The first book (and my favorite) is written by Rebecca Washburn and here’s the link: How to pick your baby’s gender. The second is written by Ashly Spencer and you can get it here: How to choose the gender of your baby. And the third is called: The ultimate guide to baby gender selection and includes some nice bonuses. They all make use of the Shettles methods of baby gender selection techniques.

The more acidic the better – relatively speaking – Suilcha, I would suggest having intercourse as many times as possible during that window…WhoooHeee!
